Proof of COVID Vaccination
Please be advised the City of Regina is mandating effective November 1, 2021 that anyone 12 years of age and older entering any Regina Exhibition Association Limited (REAL) facility is required to show proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of coming on campus. For children turning 12, there will be a three-month leeway during which they are exempt from the requirements. Three months after their 12th birthday, they must either be fully vaccinated or provide a negative test.
Staff will be stationed at the main entrance of the Cooperators Centre to check everyone coming through the door. Due to the size and scope of the REAL Campus, vaccination status checkers will also roam the rest of the venue to conduct random screening checks.
Tenants on campus are required to verify vaccination status with their staff and patrons.
As per the Public Health Order, REAL maintains its commitment to the provincial requirement for proof of vaccination or negative COVID test for public access to event and entertainment venues, including conference centres, concert venues, live-music venues, and indoor facilities hosting ticketed sporting events. This will include all indoor facilities offering indoor ticketed events on the REAL campus, including all Regina Pats games and Candian Western Agribition.
Valid proof of vaccination includes:
- Saskatchewan issued QR code on your mobile phone;
- Screenshot or print off of your MySaskHealthRecord;
- Wallet card received at time of immunization.
- If you're visiting from outside of Saskatchewan, you'll be asked to show a provincially/territorially officially recognized vaccine record as well as government identification.
Proof of Negative Test
Individuals who do not have proof of vaccination have the option of providing proof of a negative COVID-19 rapid antigen or polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test result from within the last 72 hours. This test is to be done at the expense of the individual. Self-administered take-home rapid antigen tests (e.g. pictures of negative tests) will not be accepted.
Photo ID is required for anyone over the age of 18. Youth aged 12-17 will also need to show ID unless accompanied by an adult with proof of full vaccination and ID. Youth between 12-17 coming to a REAL facility without an adult will be allowed to present a photo ID, birth certificate, or a health services card.
On Friday, September 17, 2021 an interim province-wide mandatory masking order was issued for all indoor public spaces, including schools.
This requirement applies to all indoor facilities on the REAL Campus including the Queensbury Convention Centre, AffinityPlex, Viterra International Trade Centre, Brandt Centre, Cooperators Centre and the Canada Centre Complex. Masks will also be required when visiting any of the indoor portions of Mosaic Stadium including any indoor lobby, lounge, suite, operational areas, elevators or washroom facilities. Children under 2 years of age, persons with medical conditions, or those who cannot place or remove masks without assistance are exempt.
- Masks are not required for youth under the age of 18 while actively participating in physical exercise or playing sports.
- Masks are only required for patrons over 18 if they show a negative test. If they prove full vaccination they are not required to wear masks while participating in physical activity.
