WHAT IS FROST REGINA?

FROST REGINA is a community initiative brought together by several stakeholders including the City of Regina, the Province of Saskatchewan, and a group of dedicated professionals. It is a new winter festival meant to embrace and celebrate the beauty of winter. There are events and entertainment happening under FROST REGINA, which includes, FROST @REAL, FROST @DOWNTOWN, FROST @WAREHOUSE, and FROST @WASCANA.

WHAT IS THE COST TO ATTEND FROST @REAL?

$17 Adults, $10 Seniors and Children (4-12), Free for children under 3.

WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH A FROST @REAL PASS?

There is a mix of incredible indoor and outdoor entertainment taking place throughout the REAL Campus as part of FROST @REAL.

  • Outdoor activities in Confederation Park which include City Lights, Prismatica, Snow Maze, Ice Sculptures, Ice Slides, Indigenous Village and the Ice Dome Bar.
  • GLOW @REAL is an amazing light display inside the Viterra International Trade Centre.
  • Iceville is Canada’s largest outdoor rink covering almost 90,000 square feet on the field at Mosaic Stadium.
  • Concerts at the Brandt Centre include Big Wreck on February 4, 2022, and Dean Brody February 5, 2022, on first-come-first-served basis. (Doors open at 7:30 p.m. for both shows)
  • National Curling Day Skins Game on February 5, on Iceville featuring two-time World Champion Kevin Koe and Saskatchewan's own Matt Dunstone.
WILL THERE BE SKATING THIS YEAR AS WELL?

Yes! Iceville @Frost is included with your Frost Pass and is available on a first come first served basis. Entry through the SGI Chalet @ Harvard Lounge.

WHAT ARE THE HOURS FOR ICEVILLE DURING FROST?

February 4 – 13, 2022
Monday – Thursday 4 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Friday – Saturday 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Sunday 12 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Rental Skates will be available on site along with skate sharpening by Extreme Hockey.

WILL THERE BE CONCERTS?

Yes! To heat things up we’ve got an exciting lineup of entertainment inside the Brandt Centre to celebrate FROST @REAL in style.

  • Friday, February 4, 2022 - Big Wreck
  • Saturday, February 5 - Dean Brody

*Doors open at 7:30 p.m. for both shows.

The admission fee is included in the $17 pass. However, the seating is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Your FROST @REAL pass does not guarantee a seat.

Your Frost Pass is redeemable for any one day of Frost @REAL. If you attend on the day of a concert it would be included.

CAN I RESERVE SEATS AT THE CONCERT(S)?

The concert bowl is general admission seating and is first come first service until capacity is reached.

VIP Seating Packages are available for purchase in the first 3 rows on the floor for each concert, these packages include your Frost Pass.

WILL FOOD/BEVERAGES BE AVAILABLE AT DURING FROST @REAL?

We will have multiple areas for food and beverage including the Ice Dome Bar at Confederation Park, The SGI Chalet (Harvard Lounge), and Viterra International Trade Centre.

WHERE CAN I BUY PASSES TO FROST @REAL?

Advance passes can be purchased by visiting www.frostatreal.ca.

Walk up passes will be available during the event at GLOW in the Viterra International Trade Centre & Confederation Park Entrance.

ENTERING FROST

If you already have your ticket, proceed to either the Viterra International Trade Centre or Confederation Park.

  • Vaccination Check
  • Look for the pre-Purchased pass line to have your ticket scanned and receive your wristband.
  • Once you have your wristband you are free to come and go throughout Frost @REAL for that day only.

 

If you do not have your ticket, proceed to either the Viterra International Trade Centre or Confederation Park.

  • Vaccination Check
  • Purchase your ticket either using the QR Codes located near the box office, or one of our box office staff will be happy to assist you in purchasing your Frost Pass.
  • You will receive your wristband upon purchase.
  • Once you have your wristband you are free to come and go throughout Frost @REAL for that day only.

 

WHAT IS THE FROST @REAL'S TICKET POLICY?

All passes are final sale, no refunds.

WILL ALL THE EVENTS BE OUTDOOR/INDOOR?

It will be a combination of both. Please dress appropriately based on Saskatchewan winter conditions.

WILL THERE BE PARKING?

There will be limited paid parking on site.

WHAT IS LOST KIDS, AND WHERE IS IT LOCATED?

Parents and Guardians can pick up a self-adhering label from any of our vaccine check-in tables, the box office in the Viterra International Trade Centre or Confederation Park or the Lost Kids Centre.

The child’s parent or guardian’s cell phone number will be displayed on the label which will be worn by children visiting Frost. Labels should be worn in a visible location, either on the child’s chest, back or for older kids they may prefer to wear theirs on the inside of their hat.

Should a child be separated from their parent or guardian the Lost Kids team will call the phone number provided. Our staff members will not leave a child unattended until they are reunited with their family. This is a complimentary program.

Lost Kids is located in the Viterra International Trade Centre Building Office B.

WILL YOU ACCEPT CASH ON SITE?

All points of sale on the REAL property will be going cashless. Credit, Debit, Apple, and Google Pay will be accepted. Cash is acceptable also.

DOES MY FROST PASS INCLUDE THE SASKTEL TANKARD?

No, a separate ticket will need to be purchased to enter the SaskTel Tankard. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster.ca – Click Here to Buy

IS SMOKING/VAPING ALLOWED AT REAL?

REAL offers designated outdoor areas for smoking/vaping. For the health, safety and comfort of all our guests smoking/vaping is not permitted anywhere else on the grounds. Cannabis is not permitted on REAL grounds, and you may be ejected if caught consuming cannabis.

WHERE IS LOST AND FOUND?

Located in the security office on the west side of the Brandt Centre. Guests can visit lost & found during the event. After the event, guests should contact the REAL security office at 306.781.9252 to confirm if the item has been found and arrange for pick up.

WHAT SAFETY MEASURES CAN I EXPECT WILL BE IMPLEMENTED DURING THE 2022 FROST @REAL?

We will be monitoring the City of Regina and Saskatchewan Health Authority for any changes to the current public health orders.

However, the public is reminded that everyone over the age of 12 years old must provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID – 19 test from a certified testing site (PCR Test: SHA, Rapid Antigen Test: Haztech/Quantum Genetix/Nobel) taken within 72 hours of coming to Frost @REAL. Vaccination status will be checked up arrival to Confederation Park or the Viterra International Trade Centre.

The public is also reminded that masks must be worn while indoors on the REAL Campus.

If you are feeling unwell for any reason, please stay home and isolate if you are feeling sick or exhibiting symptoms.

REAL maintains GBAC Star Certified cleaning standards which are the highest standards available to prevent disease transmission.
