Situated in the heart of the Queen City, the Regina Exhibition Association Limited (operating Evraz Place) is one of the largest and most influential event complexes in the country. We are a centre of excellence for entertainment, business, sport, recreation and cultural activities. Evraz Place is a 100-acre property that hosts the majority of Regina’s major events every year, and serves as an important anchor within the tourism industry – provincially, nationally and internationally.


The Regina Exhibition Association Limited (REAL), operating Evraz Place, is adding two (2) full-time permanent Human Resource Consultant positions to our People Services team, and we are committed to doing things differently!  We are looking for experienced HR professionals that can help take our HR client service model to the next level. 

As trusted partners to our business units, the Human Resources Consultants are responsible to be leaders in coaching and change management, equipping managers to lead their teams and enabling a culture of productive, skilled team members.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:  Building out recruitment strategies and processes, along with completing the talent acquisition activities necessary to support the staffing processes (this includes the rollout of a new applicant tracking system); Facilitating the build-out and ongoing administration of more robust Leave Management and Onboarding programs; Assisting our managers with performance and disciplinary activities, as necessary; Identifying program ideas, process improvements and development opportunities for the People Services team; Building relationships our with community and union stakeholders; Serving as an organizational culture champions, helping to drive employee engagement.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, with 5+ years’ of relevant experience, covering some or all of the above HR functional areas.  A CHRP designation would be considered an asset.

Other qualifications include:

  • Experience providing consultative advice to managers;
  • Implementing new initiatives;
  • Experience working in a unionized environment is an asset;
  • Knowledge of the Saskatchewan Employment Act and other relevant legislation;
  • Knowledge of best practices and trends relating to workforce planning, sourcing/talent acquisition and learning and development;
  • Proven ability to deal tactfully and decisively with sensitive client issues while maintaining the highest levels of customer service and confidentiality;
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and effectively handle changing priorities.
