Plant Operations & Maintenance (POM) Trade Assistant
Evraz Place is currently seeking two (POM) Trade Assistants. This role is responsible for assisting the Facility Engineers, or Journeyman Trades in operations and maintenance of the facilities at Evraz Place.
Qualified individuals MUST possess a valid Class 5 driver's license AND have their Fireman's Certificate. Knowledge of Safety Regulations, Labour Code, and Occupational Health and Safety Standards are also a must. Candidate will also have previous experience in facility maintenance and repair. Grade twelve (12) or equivalent a definite asset.
Hours of work for this position: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Wage range for this inscope unionized position is $11.52 - $16.97 per hour
Casual Labourers
Working both indoors and outdoors throughout the grounds and various facilities both on site and off site. Perform labourer duties including, but not limited to: move, set-up and tear down of equipment for various events.
Qualified individuals MUST have a valid Driver's License. Must have the physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and have steel-toed boots. Knowledge of Safety Regulations, Labour Code and Occupational Health and Safety Standards a definite asset. Grade twelve (12) education also a definite asset.
This is a casual on call position so the hours of work will vary according to business needs.
Wage for this inscope unionized position is $10. 36 per hour
Casual Janitors
Working both indoors and outdoors throughout the grounds and various facilities. Keep buildings and grounds in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.
Previous experience in janitorial is preferred. Knowledge of WHMIS program and Occupational Health and Safety Standards and a Grade twelve (12) education, a definite asset.
This is a casual on call position so the hours of work will vary according to business needs.
Wage for this inscope unionized position is $10.36 per hour.
