Sport & Recreation Manager of Operations
In conjunction with the General Manager, Sport & Recreation, the Manager of Operations is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Co-operators Centre (six-pad multi-purpose arena complex) and the Credit Union EventPlex (international size soccer facility) as well as the playing surface of the Brandt Centre (7,000 seat sports & entertainment venue). 

This sport and recreation facility professional will oversee all aspects of building operation for the Sport & Recreation facilities. You will manage the supervision and scheduling of full time & part time staff as well as facilitate attendance management, performance management and other employee related processes. In addition, you will oversee events (set up, delivery and tear down) and work non-traditional hours to meet the goals and objectives of event delivery and building operations. 

Our preferred candidate will have post secondary  education with an emphasis on recreational facility management coupled with ice making experience preferably  in a multi-pad, multi-use facility. A Refrigeration Class B Certificate (or equivalent) is an asset. You will have WHMIS and OH&S training as well as sound knowledge and experience using computer applications for both office and building operating systems. Due to the nature of this position the selected candidate must successfully pass a criminal reference check.
